Does dating give you anxiety, tap into old wounds, make you want to stay single forever? Do you notice you’re acting a certain way you think they will like, staying pretty closed up, or accepting behaviors that don’t feel quite right inside? Do you struggle to even start a conversation? Or once you’ve started, to take it to the next level?

These discomforts and strained behaviors are signals calling for us to pause, take a breath and connect with the thoughts and emotions that create them. Connect to our beautiful selves.

Join us this Friday and Saturday for an experiential workshop on The Inner Adventure of Dating. We will use the tools of IBSR (Inquiry Based Stress Reduction) also known as The Work of Byron Katie to identify and question our stressful thoughts.

Jenna Pool and Judith Pfeiffer are certified facilitators of The Work of Byron Katie. We’ve been on the dating adventure too. Join us!

What painful beliefs have you inherited from mother, father, sister, brother? And what did they inherit from the generation before?  And before that? What have we or will we pass on to the next?  Everything we "know" comes from somewhere.  For example, if my great grandmother lived with deep beliefs of inferiority and servitude to men, there is a very good chance I will believe/embody the same.  By identifying and questioning these beliefs, we can reduce the chance of passing them on to our children, thereby transforming the lineage.

Any womxn who have experienced thoughts that create suffering, stress, or pain in their lives are invited to join us. We will explore our thoughts with the four questions and turnarounds, as practiced in The Work of Byron Katie. Our truth is often hiding beneath a veil of painful beliefs. We will lift this veil, giving love to our beautiful, innocent selves.
